Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient and reliable plant operations in our Sioux City facility. You will work across departments to prevent issues, apply strong problem-solving skills to real-time challenges, and promote a proactive maintenance culture with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, with a path to expert proficiency within 10 months of hire, and collaboration with production

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
8+ years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment.
Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, PLC, welding and rigging.

Responsibilities

Performs highly complex technical tasks and decisions.
Achieves and maintains Maintenance Tech III expert proficiency within 10 months of hire.
Troubleshoots PLC hardware and related systems.
Repairs and maintains complex machinery, including AC/DC/Servo control and instrumentation systems.
Collaborates with production and other technicians to solve problems with reliability and urgency.
Conducts root cause analyses and maintains clear written reports.
Mentors junior technicians and provides hands-on training.
