Henderson Group Recruiting is sourcing a Machine Repair Technician for a Hastings, Michigan based manufacturing client. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems.

The position offers 2nd/3rd shift options, competitive hourly rates ($33.00 - $36.36) with shift premiums, and full-time direct-hire employment within a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship or trade certification in Machine Repair/Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Journeyperson certificate preferred or documented qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and automated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation-related failures.
• Troubleshoot low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including motors, sensors, relays, and control panels.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Support upgrades, retrofits, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Document maintenance activities and downtime in the CMMS.
