Job summary
Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Machine Repair Technician for our Hastings, Michigan site.
This multicraft role focuses on maintaining safety, reliability, and performance of industrial equipment, with hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and assist with installation and commissioning of production machinery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and maintenance experience.
- Journeyperson certificate or documented machine-repair experience preferred.
- Experience with multicraft maintenance in manufacturing is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and automated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation-related failures.
- Troubleshoot low- and high-voltage electrical systems and motors, sensors, relays, and control panels.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support continuous-improvement projects.
