Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Maintenance Technician at its Lithonia, GA box plant to diagnose, repair and maintain complex machinery. You will work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and join a team dedicated to safe, reliable production and preventive maintenance.

The role starts on first shift with 10–12 hour days; opportunities exist to adjust shifts as operations evolve. Authorized US work status and experience in corrugated packaging are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ Years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• 2+ Years' experience of electromechanical experience.
• A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades.
• Initial first shift with 10–12 hour shifts; shifts may change with plant needs.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Lithonia, GA.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a production environment.
• All maintenance positions are multicraft with training to develop these skills.
