Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Carrollton, TX plant. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Team-based preventive maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns are key parts of the job. We offer two shifts, with training provided for multicraft skills and opportunities to adjust shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.
• Shifts assigned based on plant needs and seniority; opportunities to change shifts.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a production environment.
• All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.
