Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Columbus, Indiana box plant. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a focus on preventive maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a second-shift position (3 PM–11 PM) with overtime opportunities. A technical degree is preferred, with 2+ years of experience; being authorized to work in the US is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdown calls in a production environment.
• Work as part of a multicraft team; training is provided to develop skills.
