Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Ravenna, OH, seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to support the plastics extrusion process through hands-on multi-craft maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and safety-focused operations on your shift.

You will work with a team to maintain equipment, troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, perform preventive maintenance, document work, manage parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC equipment is preferred.
• Own basic hand tools; PPE and physical requirements are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety for self and team.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot production machinery and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment; PLC experience is a plus.
• Maintain wiring and safety devices per NEC and standards.
• Document maintenance activities and assist with spare parts inventory.
• Support LEAN and Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
