Job summary
Parker Hannifin is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic B to support repair of production equipment, including maintenance, refurbishing and installation as directed.
The role involves analyzing systems, reading schematics, PLC troubleshooting, welding, and handling of hazardous materials. You will work with blueprints and operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.
Qualifications
- 5 years related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
- Knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with push/pull.
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact with multiple levels.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, tests for installation, repair and upkeep of all systems, equipment and machinery.
- Assist in removal, repair or relocation of machine tools and installation of lines and supports.
- Diagnose defects in equipment and perform PLC troubleshooting.
- Repair and preventative maintenance of hydraulic equipment, tools, and plumbing.
- Set up welding equipment (arc and acetylene).
- Plan, layout and construct additions, partitions, benches, and other carpentry work.
- Coordinate hazardous material handling and disposal logistics.
- Read and use blueprints and sketches to guide work.
- Operate scissor lift, forklift or other material handling equipment.
- Work independently with time management and adapt to changing tasks.
