Job summary

SugarCreek is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will coordinate with operations to schedule tasks and minimize downtime, using diagnostic tools and field devices.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, dismantling and rebuilding machines, and performing preventive maintenance while adhering to safety policies and LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; electro-mechanical focus preferred.
• 2+ years in maintenance with automated equipment, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Dismantle and rebuild machinery to access defective parts.
• Conduct routine preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Verify findings and follow up on work orders promptly.
• Use prints, wiring diagrams, and manuals as needed.
• Maintain, troubleshoot relay logic and control devices.
• Follow LOTO procedures and safety policies at all times.
• Complete daily shift maintenance reports and communicate issues.
