Job summary

Burlington Industries in Raeford, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with Multicraft electrical experience to service and troubleshoot production machinery, the plant and utilities. Applicants should have 1–3 years of electrical, mechanical or multi-craft maintenance experience; an Associate's Degree is preferred and experience must be verifiable.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Technologies, Electrical Systems Engineering is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of electrical, mechanical or multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment or equivalent education. Experience and education must be verifiable.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and modernization of electrical, mechanical components to provide uninterrupted service.
• Stick to a continual work schedule to maintain all company property in a safe and healthy condition to achieve the best working conditions possible for all employees.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment to maximize production uptime.
• Inspect jobs in process and at completion to ensure that standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.
• Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and building.
• Recommend, plan, and implement equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or achieve cost reduction.
• Responsible for electrical and mechanical equipment layouts and the modification of facilities within the plant.
