Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking a highly creative RTW Designer to join our team. You will design across RTW, Lingerie, Knitwear, and Swimwear, create detailed sketches, CADs, and layouts, and partner with global vendors to bring collections to life.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fashion design, a Bachelor’s degree, strong embroidery principles, tech packs, and a keen eye for trend, color, and detail. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Procreate, is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a fashion design role, preferably fast-paced contemporary or specialty apparel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) plan with company match, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Design across multiple categories, including RTW, Lingerie, Knitwear, and Swimwear.
• Create detailed sketches, CADs, and artworks that clearly communicate design intent.
• Develop embroidery artwork and demonstrate understanding of embroidery techniques.
• Develop tech packs and BOMs in partnership with Technical Design and Product Development teams.
• Communicate fit corrections through live fittings and 3D CAD revisions.
