Job summary

Simplevenue is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting for multiple venues, including bank reconciliations, payroll, and intercompany activity. The role supports month-end close and HR, benefits, and insurance administration, in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

You will collaborate with venue teams, hotel partners, leadership, and external providers to maintain accurate records and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting experience in multiunit hospitality.
• Hands-on with bank reconciliations, payroll, and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals; able to work across venues.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with accounting/payroll platforms.
• Comfortable with AI tools; eager to learn.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations across accounts and entities; resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations, journals, and reports.
• Coordinate HR, benefits, insurance, and payroll across locations.
• Open and set up new venues in accounting, payroll, and reporting systems.
• Liaise with hotel partners, venue teams, and external providers.
• Manage vendor setups and intercompany settlements.
