Job summary

SSP America seeks an Operations Manager to oversee multiple restaurant concepts at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). This high-visibility role coaches General Managers toward operational excellence and strong financial performance while upholding brand standards.

Reporting to the onsite Director of Operations, you will coach, develop, and hold GMs accountable, turning standards into habits and elevating leadership across brands in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in restaurant/food service in a management/supervisory capacity
• Minimum five years in a Restaurant General Manager capacity
• Experience as a multi-unit restaurant manager with oversight of GMs desired
• Technical training in Full Service and Quick Service restaurant; culinary background desirable
• Proficient MS Office and POS systems; strong organizational maturity

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Restaurant General Managers across multiple brands and concepts
• Hold GMs accountable for execution, results, and consistency
• Teach and mentor best practices in operations, finance, and people leadership
• Drive performance across food quality, guest experience, labor, and controllables
• Partner with the Director of Operations to align priorities and execute strategy
• Ensure systems, processes, and reporting are followed
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial reviews and teach GMs how to manage P&Ls
• Identify gaps, address underperformance, and celebrate wins
• Problem solving: address routine issues and escalate complex problems
• Educational background: High School Diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred.
