Reyna’s BBQ & Cocina is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and strengthen the accounting function for our growing restaurant organization. This hands-on leadership role combines restaurant accounting expertise with operational finance, technology, and team development.

You will partner with ownership and restaurant leadership to maintain accurate records, improve reporting, and support scalable financial processes in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant accounting, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
• Ability to lead and develop a team while improving financial processes.
• Strong communication skills with senior leadership and operators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a multi-unit restaurant organization.
• Manage daily sales and cash reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Lead the month-end close process.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor food and beverage COGS.
• Support inventory and purchasing controls.
• Review labor and payroll reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify financial and operational issues and help develop practical solutions.
• Communicate financial results and trends to restaurant and senior leadership.
• Develop accounting team members and promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
