Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced District Manager to supervise multiple restaurants, coach and develop managers, and drive profitability. You will lead bi-weekly management meetings, monitor operations, and ensure food safety and customer satisfaction across all locations.

Qualifications include multi-unit QSR leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel for ownership meetings and store visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of multi-unit QSR management.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to manage and provide leadership to multiple locations.
• Must have a sense of urgency and the ability to motivate others to perform.
• Proven track record in developing restaurant management teams and achieving company sales and profitability metrics.
• Ability to read and interpret restaurant Profit & Loss statements.
• Qualified candidates must have excellent customer service and employee relation skills.
• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal,and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform all functions required of any job in the restaurant; travel to various meetings/seminars as called for by the ownership group.
• Must have the ability to work with various people, ages, circumstances and be called upon to meet the highest values and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and achieve each restaurant’s business plan, objectives, and CORE goals with ownership group.
• Staff, train and develop all restaurant managers through orientation and ongoing feedback; conduct quarterly performance reviews.
• Manage restaurant controllable expenses (cost of goods and labor) to meet profitability metrics.
• Ensure PRIDE systems and routines are followed; perform bi-weekly PRIDE walks and address issues.
• Ensure food safety training and compliance with health department guidelines across stores.
• Organize bi-weekly management meetings to review sales, development, and operations.
• Address customer complaints across channels promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Organize and implement local restaurant marketing initiatives to increase sales.
• Review payroll data and bonuses; ensure accurate timing and payments.
