Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking a results-driven District Manager to supervise multiple restaurant locations in the Akron area. You will coach and develop managers, build high-performing teams, and ensure top customer service while driving financial and operational goals.

You will lead staffing, training, and quarterly performance reviews, manage expenses, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Travel to sites and ownership meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of multi-unit QSR management experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop restaurant managers.
• Experience reading and interpreting Profit & Loss statements.
• Strong customer service and employee relations skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and lead teams under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to meetings and seminars as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of each restaurant's business plan and core goals.
• Staff, train and develop all restaurant managers with performance reviews.
• Manage controllable expenses to achieve profitability targets.
• Ensure food safety standards and compliance at all locations.
• Lead bi-weekly management meetings and review sales and operations.
• Address customer feedback across channels and resolve issues promptly.
• Organize local marketing initiatives to increase restaurant sales.
• Hire and terminate management staff in compliance with laws.
• Foster positive culture aligned with company Core Values.
