Job summary

The Area Supervisor at McDonald’s oversees operational performance, leadership development, and guest experience across multiple restaurant locations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role guides GMs with coaching, auditing, and strategic direction to uphold brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multi-location management in fast food, with strong people leadership and KPI focus. Regular travel between stores is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of prior management experience; GM experience preferred.
• At least 2 years’ work in fast food, hospitality or retail.
• Experience managing multiple locations and direct reports.
• Ability to influence KPIs and drive improvements.
• ServSafe certification required to be obtained and active.
• Bilingual (Spanish) desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, coach General Managers and leaders across locations.
• Monitor performance metrics and support strategic improvements.
• Audit operations, safety, scheduling and customer service standards.
• Facilitate regular GM meetings and cascade updates to teams.
• Run KPI reports and assist with planning and execution.
• Travel between locations as needed and support audits.
