Sonic Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure the delivery of quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, providing guests with an enjoyable experience. The job duties include:

1. Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and conducting management orientation.
2. Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
3. Overseeing employees and management across multiple drive-ins, ensuring proper operation of all stations based on store volume and standards.
4. Ensuring compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.
5. Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly and reporting them to supervisors.
6. Reviewing work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and service quality.
7. Monitoring cost control procedures and taking corrective actions as needed.
8. Monitoring vendor performance and addressing issues.
9. Auditing employment and payroll records.
10. Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints respectfully.
11. Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
12. Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
13. Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial and sales trends.
14. Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.

Additional requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Multi-unit supervision experience is a plus.
• Availability to work at least 5 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, health and sanitation regulations.
• Leadership, communication, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and solve problems effectively.
