Sonic Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure quality food is provided in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience at Sonic. Key duties include:
- Managing, training, and coaching Working Partners/General Managers, and conducting management orientation.
- Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
- Overseeing employees and management in performing duties across various stations (e.g., Fountain & Frozen, Grill, Drive-Thru) during shifts, depending on store volume, to ensure quality and service standards are met.
- Ensuring compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.
- Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly, reporting concerns to supervisors.
- Reviewing work schedules to maintain proper staffing levels.
- Monitoring cost control procedures and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
- Approving compensation within company guidelines.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
- Implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
- Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR, with shift management experience.
- Multi-unit supervision experience preferred.
- Ability to work at least 5 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations.
- Leadership, communication, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and resolve problems effectively.
- Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
