Job summary

CubeSmart seeks a professional Facility Services Manager with multi-unit experience to oversee construction and R&M projects across 100+ stores. You will manage contracts, budgets, and capital initiatives, while coordinating with district leaders to ensure facilities meet standards and safety requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management skills, and involves approximately 50% travel to stores across states.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or comparable background.
• Multi-unit building maintenance or construction experience (minimum 5 years).
• Engineering degree is favorable but not requisite.

Responsibilities

• Oversees capital improvements and major maintenance projects for 100+ stores across multiple states.
• Reviews service contracts, estimates maintenance needs, prepares bid specs, solicits and reviews bids, and negotiates contracts.
• Directs maintenance and repair efforts with District Managers and Senior District Managers.
• Develops and maintains capital budgets and manages expenses within approved budgets.
• Supervises outside contractors and ensures work meets standards and contract requirements.
• Presents project reviews at divisional meetings and timelines to groups.
• Ensures safety compliance and travels ~50% to stores.
