Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage property maintenance, guest and staff service, and preventative programs at multiple communities. You will schedule work orders, supervise staff, and ensure timely readiness of units for occupancy while maintaining safety and budget compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 2–3 years hands-on general maintenance experience.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience with building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical).
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee maintenance work orders.
• Prepare make-ready for new occupancy and oversee vendor coordination.
• Train maintenance staff to handle fill-in tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Maintain budgets, inventory and purchasing per guidelines.
• Communicate maintenance concerns and plans with Community Manager.
