Job summary

Wingstop Restaurants Inc. is seeking a District Manager in the Dallas area to lead a group of Wingstop locations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences and adherence to company standards. You will develop General Managers, drive restaurant performance, and execute field initiatives with a focus on people, process, and profit.

The role demands 8+ years of leadership in food service, 3+ years of multi-unit management, and a strong financial acumen. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in food service, retail, or restaurant operations
  • 3+ years of multi-unit management experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations or a defined district
  • Proven track record of driving sales, profitability, and operational performance
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, cost controls, and business planning
  • Demonstrated ability to develop General Managers and build high-performing teams
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, safety standards, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, coach, and develop General Managers to build high-performing restaurant teams
  • Drive accountability and performance management through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Identify and develop high-potential talent to support succession planning within the district
  • Partner with General Managers to create and execute people development and staffing plans
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, including corrective action, conflict resolution, and terminations
  • Foster a culture of engagement, recognition, and accountability that reflects Wingstop’s values
  • Ensure effective onboarding and training programs are consistently executed
  • Ensure all restaurants consistently meet or exceed company standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and ensure brand standards are upheld
  • Drive consistency by reinforcing operational processes, tools, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards
  • Partner with Facilities and Operations teams to maintain restaurants to company standards
  • Communicate company priorities and updates clearly and consistently to restaurant teams
  • Drive sales growth, profitability, and cost control across all restaurants in the district
  • Analyze P&L statements and key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities
  • Partner with General Managers to develop and execute action plans that improve financial performance
  • Monitor and optimize labor, food costs, and operating expenses to meet company targets
