Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a District Manager to lead a multi-unit market, driving sales and profitability while guiding General Managers and Core 4 staff. You will recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team, ensure inventory and operational standards, and build strong commercial relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication across DIY and Commercial segments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to recruit, hire and develop General Managers and Core 4 positions.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed district total sales and profitability goals.
• Ensure commercial customer retention and relationship growth.
• Staffing, development, and performance management of General Managers.
• Execute inventory and operational standards across the district.
• Conduct regular store visits and provide action plans.
• Lead in a multi-unit, integrated operating model (DIY, Commercial, PDQ, Hub).
• Communicate effectively with stores and support staff.
