Jackson Hewitt - GHB seeks a District Manager to lead a 20-30 location region, driving service excellence and financial results. You will coach leaders, manage budgeting and staffing, and partner with HR to resolve issues while maintaining compliance. Strong retail leadership and P&L know-how are essential.

You will build local talent, drive client service, and oversee branding, operations and costs to maximize district profitability and growth within the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong leadership track record required.
• Experience managing a district or multi-unit P&L and budgeting.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage local P&L, staffing, scheduling, store setup and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure assets, clients and employees are safe and compliant with standards.
• Build a high-performing team through recruitment, guidance and development.
• Create development plans to retain top associates and boost morale.
• Coach store leadership to improve performance and accountability.
• Foster a culture where associates share views and strive for excellence.
• Develop the Assistant District Manager and partner to drive sales and service.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, profitability and cash controls.
• Ensure branding and operational standards are executed.
• Coordinate work schedules, timecards and HR relations with support teams.
• Collaborate with HR to resolve employee relations matters.
• Maintain relationships with brokers/landlords and manage Capex planning.
• Analyze policies and operations; propose changes to improve results.
• Adhere to federal, state and company compliance requirements.
