Job summary

State of Missouri, Office of Administration - OA-FMDC in Missouri invites experienced trades supervisor to lead a multi-trade team across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and more. You will oversee building, equipment, maintenance projects, direct and train staff, and ensure work aligns with project objectives.

This role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA standards, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

3–5 years of skilled experience in trades, building maintenance, or construction.
Ability to train, mentor, coach, and develop staff.
Safety-first mindset with considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Excellent communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver license (or adjacent state).
OSHA 10 and/or 30 preferred, FMDC can provide if needed.

Responsibilities

Lead a team across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and other trades.
Direct, train, and manage a team to align work with project objectives.
Prioritize purchasing requests, time/leave, facility coverage and training program compliance.
Ensure facilities remain in compliance with agency requirements.
Respond to emergency calls and travel to other facilities for coverage.
Follow OA-FMDC health and safety protocols and OSHA standards.
