State of Indiana is seeking a maintenance technician for Richmond State Hospital to diagnose and repair a range of building systems. You will maintain records, purchase parts, and perform repairs across masonry, plumbing, electrical and carpentry trades.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of masonry, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of radio communications and safety precautions.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools for maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and guidelines.
• Willingness to travel with reasonable accommodation.
• A degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in facilities.
• Maintain service and maintenance records.
• Purchase required parts, tools, and supplies per policy.
• Repair buildings and structures.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Workday attendance at assigned worksite is essential.
