Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll join a full‑service maintenance team, supporting daily repair and preventive maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds. You may supervise incarcerated individual maintenance workers following general instructions and standard practices of the trade. This Monday-Friday role offers steady hours (7.5 hours a day), strong safety practices, and hands-on experience. We provide training for motivated individuals starting their maintenance career, with a clear path for advancement into supervisory and leadership roles (Maintenance Technician → Maintenance Supervisor → Physical Plant Director). The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience.
