Job summary

Volt is seeking a Handyman in Fremont, CA to perform maintenance across multiple properties, including plumbing, appliance installation, painting, and basic carpentry. You will fix CCTV cameras, network connections, pull cables, and handle routine repairs.

Safe operation of equipment like forklifts is required. The ideal candidate has proven handyman experience, owns reliable transportation, and can read instructions and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
• Transportation to and from work and between buildings.
• Able to read and follow instructions and blueprints.
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on properties (plumbing, appliances, painting, wiring).
• Maintain CCTV, network connections, and lighting; pull cables.
• Safely operate equipment such as a forklift or lift.
• Assist other tradespeople on broader projects (electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Report major issues needing professional intervention.
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment to meet deadlines.
