Job summary

Landings Real Estate Group in Middletown, RI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment communities running at their best. This hands-on role covers apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and diverse trades.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues, handle work orders with 24-hour turnaround, and participate in rotating on-call shifts including evenings and weekends. Prior multi-family maintenance experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multi-family maintenance or a related skilled trade.
• Solid carpentry skills including framing, finishing, cabinetry, drywall, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns with a focus on carpentry and skilled trades.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC issues.
• Complete work orders promptly and accurately, with a typical 24-hour turnaround.
• Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Support seasonal property needs, including snow removal and other operational tasks.
