Job summary

Paramount Construction is seeking a Skilled-Trades Commercial Construction Maintenance Technician to join our team serving storage facilities across Northern California. The role requires hands-on construction and maintenance work, with a focus on quality, safety, and meeting project timelines.

Based in Concord/ NorCal area, you will perform tasks from framing to finishes, read blueprints, and collaborate with project managers and trades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial construction and maintenance, specifically in storage facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general construction techniques, including framing, drywall, flooring, and finishes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Must have a reliable work ethic and ability to complete projects on time.
• No required licenses, but certifications in relevant trades are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general construction tasks related to commercial storage facility projects.
• Work with tools and equipment to construct, repair, and maintain structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all work is code-compliant and meets safety regulations.
• Assist in site preparation, material handling, and general labor as needed.
• Troubleshoot construction issues and implement solutions efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site, following all company and OSHA safety standards.
