Job summary

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of trades including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and cooling on tribal facilities.

This position is full-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and a commitment to safety and HIPAA/privacy. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of related maintenance experience.
• Electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provides repairs and maintenance for Ponca Tribe facilities.
• Prioritizes and completes work orders; submits monthly report.
• Performs light plumbing and electrical duties and carpentry.
• Secures the facility after hours and coordinates with security.
• Supports Emergency Management with evacuation plans and drills.
