Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• First Aid and CPR certification within three months of hire preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and general maintenance skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides repairs and maintenance for Ponca Tribe facilities.
• Prioritizes and completes work orders; submit monthly report of all work orders.
• Performs light plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintains grounds keeping for facilities.
• Assist in safety policy evaluation for QA and accreditation requirements.
• Conducts rounds to check for hazards and security of grounds and building.
• Secures building after hours; coordinates with staff and security guards.
• Provides after-hours contact number for emergencies.
• Assists Emergency Management with evacuation plans and drills.
• Relates well to ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and hostile individuals.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
