Job summary

Springbrook NY Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to lead repairs and preventive maintenance across building systems and facilities.

You will diagnose, repair, install and maintain plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and masonry, with attention to safety and compliance. Responsibilities include estimating labor and material needs, maintaining inventory, supervising others when required, and staying on-call for maintenance emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Five years’ maintenance/construction experience with progression.
• Trade knowledge in painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
• Ability to plan, schedule and inspect work assignments.
• Strong troubleshooting and material estimation skills.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC/electrical systems and generators.
• Good record-keeping and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs to buildings/equipment.
• Performs installation, repair and maintenance Plumbing; Heating & Air Conditioning; Electrical; Carpentry; Masonry.
• Documents details of project completion.
• Provides care and maintenance and accountability for tools and vehicles.
• Works according to up-to-date safety practices.
• Generates estimates of labor, time, costs, and materials.
• Maintains inventory; requisitions, assigns, and tracks materials.
• Snow removal, plowing, lawn care, trimming as needed.
• Maintains work area, equipment and tools.
• May supervise others.
• Available for on-call maintenance as directed.
• May perform other related duties as required.
• Proficient with Excel/Outlook/Word; able to learn others.
• Lift up to 70 pounds safely.
• Meet driving requirements for Springbrook vehicles.
