Job summary

American Homestays, LLC dba Ameribuild based in Baltimore is seeking a Construction Laborer to support renovation, repair, and property-improvement projects. You will assist carpentry and licensed trades, handle materials, and help maintain safe, organized job sites across local sites.

The role requires manual labor, familiarity with multiple trades, and the ability to follow plans and supervisor directions. OSHA 10 or equivalent credentials are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education preferred.
• Minimum of two years hands-on experience in construction, renovation, maintenance, or property rehabilitation preferred.
• OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, and applicable trade credentials are preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to assigned project locations required.

Responsibilities

• Perform selective demolition, debris removal, cleanup, hauling, sorting, and lawful disposal of materials.
• Assist with framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinets, flooring, painting, caulking, weatherproofing, and punch-list work.
• Support licensed plumbing, electrical, and HVAC professionals with material handling and site setup.
• Measure, cut, drill, fasten, assemble, move, and install materials within skill level.
• Load/unload vehicles and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain clean, safe jobsites and protect occupied areas during construction activities.
• Photograph work progress and complete required daily work records.
• Report hazards, damages, and safety concerns to supervisor.
