Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping/receiving, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and quality standards across multi-temperature environments. The role supports efficient product flow and requires lifting up to 80 pounds and forklift operation as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, preparing daily paperwork, managing pallet movements, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as listed: HS diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime.
• Ability to lift 10–35 pounds repeatedly, up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Operates in dry, cooler, and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and ensure work area is safe.
• Review production paperwork and prepare for operations; wear PPE.
• Perform forklift put-away, pallet handling, order selection, receiving and related duties.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform damage checks and report to supervisor.
• Keep warehouse clean; manage housekeeping.
• Replace batteries and complete vehicle inspection; secure equipment and paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
