Job summary

Vistar is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to lead the Receiving Shift, overseeing Lumpers, Receivers, and Forklift Operators while ensuring accurate orders and proper stock rotation. You will coordinate with the Warehouse Manager, drive productivity through the WMS, and enforce safety and quality standards across the shift.

The role requires 2–4 years warehouse experience, a high school diploma, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; related experience acceptable.
• 2–4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Forklift operation experience preferred and OSHA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate order pulling and proper loading on trucks with complete paperwork.
• Maintains stock rotation per FIFO procedures and proper stocking.
• Models strong service quality and clarifies roles to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management systems to maximize productivity and suggests improvements.
• Oversees security, safety programs, and related duties after night shift as needed.
