Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch in Columbus, OH is seeking a Multi-Systemic Counselor/Social Worker to support youth and families in a community-based program. The role emphasizes systemic interventions to reduce risk of removal from home and to empower resilient outcomes.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis responses while collaborating with admissions and clinical teams, all while following OMHAS and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; master's preferred.
• Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license.
• Experience as Social Worker, Counselor, Therapist, or Clinician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients and families based on developmental needs.
• Collaborate with admissions and engagement for diagnostic assessments.
• Implement interventions respecting sociocultural values and family dynamics.
• Intervene considering physical, mental, emotional health and substance history.
• Schedule and conduct therapeutic counseling sessions with individuals and families.
• Manage crisis situations as needed and provide crisis on-call support.
• Document activities per OMHAS, Medicaid and Joint Commission standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and support across treatment teams.
