Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst in Atlanta to support day-to-day payroll tax activities across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The role audits tax records, processes adjustments, and researches inquiries to ensure accurate withholding and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in payroll, tax, accounting, finance, or related operational role.
• Experience processing high-volume payroll tax transactions with accuracy.
• Experience with multi-location payroll and taxes.
• Knowledge of UKG is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong customer service experience supporting employees or internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Audit employee tax records and process tax adjustments and amendments.
• Resolve routine payroll tax inquiries and ensure accuracy of tax data.
• Maintain documentation for payroll tax transactions and corrections.
• Prepare recurring reports and reconciliations for the payroll tax team.
• Support testing of payroll tax system changes and updates.
• Cross-train with other payroll tax team members to ensure business continuity.
