Job summary

Qualifications

• Awareness of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
• Experience in payroll reconciliations and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple states for 300 employees.
• Review and audit time records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and PTO for accuracy.
• Audit benefit deductions and related charges with HR and external providers.
• Validate Paylocity configurations and multi-state payroll rules.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and prepare journal entries for GL.
• Ensure compliance with wage-hour and payroll tax regulations across jurisdictions.
• Produce payroll reports and supporting documentation for audits.
