Towne is seeking an Insurance Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse, multi-state portfolio of auto, general liability, casualty and property claims with a focus on customer service. Local base pay ranges from $69,000 to $104,000 annually, with competitive benefits and opportunities across states Towne serves.

The role emphasizes investigation, timely follow-up and clear communication with claimants, TPAs, carriers and internal teams to deliver accurate resolutions and a positive claims experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Insurance adjuster licenses required in all 33 states Towne handles.
• Licenses must be maintained; Towne pays for licensing.
• Experience handling multi-state claims is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages multi-state claims from first notice of loss through investigation, resolution and closure.
• Reviews claim documentation, estimates and invoices; maintains claim notes and reserves.
• Evaluates coverage, liability, damages, reserves and settlements.
• Negotiates settlements with claimants, attorneys, carriers, vendors and others.
• Gathers information, investigates incidents and identifies trends to speed resolution.
• Provides responsive, empathetic communication to claimants about next steps and timelines.
• Complies with state and federal laws and company policies; assists with rental car assignments.
• Identifies subrogation and cost-savings opportunities; transmits documents to TPAs.
• Escalates significant or complex claims and supports litigation when needed.
