Job summary

The Caregiving Company is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead multi-state home care regulatory programs, align operations with state licensure requirements, and drive QAPI and emergency preparedness initiatives.

You will audit offices, prepare for surveys, manage plans of correction, maintain background checks and HIPAA processes, and partner with leadership to embed compliant practices across markets.

• Interprets regulatory language and translates it into clear guidance for offices.
• Excellent writing skills; documents policies, procedures, audit findings, and corrective plans.
• Highly organized and able to track numerous requirements across multiple states.
• Detail-oriented; spots missing docs, expired credentials, and gaps without prompting.
• Self-directed with the discipline to manage deadlines across markets.

Responsibilities

• Research and document home care licensing and operating regulations for each state.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into policy, training, and process updates.
• Own and manage the QAPI program, data collection, analysis, and improvements.
• Oversee the emergency preparedness program, including training and testing.
• Audit offices on a recurring schedule and issue clear corrective actions with deadlines.
• Prepare offices for state surveys and manage plans of correction through closure.
• Own background check processes and caregiver training records across markets.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and incident reporting processes are followed.
