Job summary

Calqulate in Menomonee Falls is seeking a Multi-Spindle Machine Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Wed 3:50pm-3:05am, Thurs 3:50pm-10:05pm with paid lunch).

Experience operating or setting up multi-spindle lathes or automatic screw machines is preferred. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, adjust speeds and inspect parts to tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single- and multi-spindle machining equipment
• Machine precision components from metal bar stock
• Read blueprints, job orders and tooling instructions
• Install and adjust collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops and tooling
• Set or adjust speeds, feeds and machine controls
• Inspect first pieces and production parts to specifications
• Replace and maintain cutting tools
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to keep production running safely and effectively

This opportunity is for someone with experience operating or setting up multi-spindle lathes, automatic screw machines or similar high-volume bar-stock machining equipment. The work may include:

• Set up and operate single- and multi-spindle machining equipment
