Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Harvest Floor Operator for our Mansfield, OH facility. The role involves hands-on processing of beef, pork, lamb, and goat, with a focus on safety and efficiency on a fast-moving floor.

The job requires 1+ year of harvest/meat processing experience, good knife skills, and the ability to work in hot, damp conditions. You’ll join a tight-knit team on a Monday–Friday shift with competitive pay based on experience.

Competenze

• 1+ years of harvest floor, slaughter, or meat processing experience preferred.
• Physically able to stand for long periods, lift heav yweights, and work in hot, cold, and damp conditions.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Mansioni

• Perform all phases of the harvest process including stunning, bleeding, skinning, eviscerating, splitting, and trimming.
• Handle livestock humanely and in accordance with animal welfare requirements.
• Trim, wash, and weigh carcasses to meet quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain knife sharpness and keep harvest floor equipment in proper working order.
• Keep workstations, walls, equipment, and the harvest floor clean and sanitized at all times.
• Follow HACCP protocols and food safety requirements without exception.
• Support barn duties including weighing, feeding, and watering livestock as skills develop.
• Assist with general sanitation and end-of-shift cleanup procedures.
