Qualifications

• Two years experience as a medical office receptionist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the scheduling process across multiple specialties.
• Answers the phone and handles multiple lines in a pleasant and courteous manner as the first point person for the patient’s care experience.
• Refers appropriate patient, guarantor, or representative to the Billing staff as appropriate.
• Schedules procedures according to patient convenience, department guidelines, staffing, and equipment availability.
• Notifies patients of their financial responsibilities.
