Job summary

CBRE in the United States is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and supports energy management.

This position requires a 2pm-11pm shift, Monday through Friday, and will involve inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing building equipment under defined procedures and supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose issues and estimate time/materials.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Work with available systems to manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Report violations to Management.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Please note this position will have a 2pm-11pm shift Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Do:
