Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs under supervision. You will perform routine inspections, diagnose issues, assist with installation and modification of equipment, and ensure energy management and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange information clearly.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
