Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems as part of the Engineering and Technical Services function.

You will provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems across portfolios. The role involves performing ongoing preventive maintenance, diagnosing problems, and assisting with installation and modification of building equipment.

Qualifications

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for proving support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Conduct building walk arounds to develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings their layouts, functions and complexities
• Investigate faults, identify causes and effect remedies
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Ensure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance
