Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and follow written instructions.
• Experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English (and Spanish as appropriate) to communicate with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all maintenance projects and training as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs (appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets).
• Carry out minor plumbing tasks (drain stoppages, fittings, faucets).
• Replace broken fixtures, appliances, blinds, locks; paint interiors/exteriors as directed.
• Assist in carpentry, shelving, doors and window work; perform custodial tasks.
• Support grounds work and participate in emergency standby coverage as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure storage areas are secure.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours when directed.
