Job summary

AJ Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance needs while upholding high standards of service and curb appeal.

You will assist with notices, resident events, and collaborate with the maintenance supervisor and property manager to keep the property in optimal condition. The role requires practical maintenance and carpentry skills, plus the ability to respond to emergencies, manage safety concerns, and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CFC certification and HVAC license preferred.
• Yardi or similar property management software experience preferred.
• Basic MS Office knowledge (Outlook/Word).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance repairs as directed.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion per standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; address issues.
• Assist with on-call emergency maintenance and inclement weather responses.
• Distribute notices, assist with resident functions, and support property management activities.
