Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic - Multi-Skilled to join our Plant Engineering team at Collegedale, TN. You will maintain and support production equipment, handle changeovers, troubleshoot, and contribute to continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and plumbing areas.

Responsibilities include setups, repairs, minor electrical work, and documenting activity in MAXIMO CMMS while ensuring GMPs and food safety are maintained.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs with emphasis on food safety and purity.
• Clear communication skills with employees at all levels.
• Ability to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with MAXIMO CMMS and basic PC use.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setups and changeovers for production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures in a multi-skilled environment.
• Conduct minor electrical repairs and assist with electrical troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to Production teams and document activity.
• Rebuild and refurbish equipment; modify for performance improvements.
• Maintain records in MAXIMO CMMS and ensure safety practices.
• Communicate downtime and maintenance status to teams and departments.
